Voices for Animals organizes the Charlottesville Vegan Roots Fest, held annually at the end of September at Booker T. Washington Park (canceled in recent years due to COVID).

PAST EVENTS

Co-organizer and sponsor, with AJA and VALS, of Progressive Science & Animal Rights Law Symposium, which included two panels and keynote speaker neurologist and ethicist Dr. Aysha Akhtar, at UVA. This symposium gave students a chance to hear about non-violent and truly progressive scientific research.
