To clarify the stray and feral cat services offered at the National Capital Area Spay & Neuter Center: caregivers and trappers of stray and feral cats -- cats NOT slated for foster or adoption -- may make appointments to come to the Center 4-days a week (Tues-Friday) and there are dedicated Feral Sundays once monthly -- typically the 2nd Sunday of the month. Whether during the week or on on Sunday, stray and feral cats MUST have appointments and MUST come to the Center in their own humane traps. No carriers. No sharing. For cats coming from outside of DC, the fee is $45 per cat. That includes all vaccinations (Rabies & FVRCP), eartipping, fliuds, flea treatment, etc.). The full list of services is available online: www.washhumane.org/catnipp.asp.
